About the zoo : Audubon Nature Institute consists of ten museums and parks devoted to nature. They serve it to their visitors, their community and world as an educational resource, an environmental protector, a leader in economic growth and a venue for family entertainment. Its facilities are the big strengths which lead to success of the Audubon family. Care and survival of wildlife through research and conservation are the goals of Audubon Nature. The full range of Audubon protection projects holds great assure for the wildlife of tomorrow. Every year brings new opportunities, new advances in technology, etc... That enable us to move from opportunity to reality as we work to ensure a future world as enriched by wildlife diversity as the one we enjoy today. Hope for the survival of a disappearance species rises with each birth of that animal in captivity. And hope heightens whenever the captive-born creature is released into the wild. Open Hours : Tuesday - Sunday(10am - 5pm) Special Monday Opening. Though usually closed Mondays, all Audubon attractions will observe a special opening Monday, April 25, 2011
